I earned my BA in History in 2006 and my MA in History in 2011 from Kent State University. Currently, I am pursuing a second Master’s in Educational Leadership and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction, also at KSU.
STEM is more than content; it’s about the processes that make life work.
Therefore, the opportunity to effect positive educational change is what excites me the most about the Academy. Education must be organic and adaptable to the needs of the current generation. As John Dewey asserted, “If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob of them of tomorrow.”
