The BMSA Student Handbook

This Student Handbook is designed to help students and families better understand the Academy’s programs, expectations, core pillars, procedures, and policies while providing insight into how our Academy operates. We have also expanded the handbook with additional sections to help families learn more about STEM education and the unique learning experiences that define the Academy.

As a school committed to continuous improvement and innovation, this handbook is a living document. While it addresses many of the questions and situations families commonly encounter, additional policies may be adopted or revised throughout the school year.
